Local folk are concerned as members of the Argent Dawn are being spotted in Duskwood. A pair is said to have been seen fishing at the bridge leading into Redridge while another group is apparently on a hunting trip. We at the Daily cannot confirm whether these activities are part of any mission objective, but questions must surely be asked.
Has the Argent Dawn been forced to hunt and fish for its own provisions or are they enjoying a camping trip within Mother Nature?
The Daily has not sent any official inquiry to the Argent Dawn Emissary in Stormwind.
I will however continue raising the important questions, assuming someone provides the required travel expenses.
In the meantime I attach a personal venison recipe with wild mushrooms* in case these poor souls would like to enrich their palate.

*WILLY’S QUICK VENISON WITH WILD MUSHROOMS
Ingredients:
One piece of venison, preferably obtained legally.
A handful of wild mushrooms.
One onion.
A pinch of salt.
Two spoonfuls of cooking oil.
Whatever herbs you find nearby.
Method:
- Cut the venison into manageable pieces and season generously.
- Fry the onion and mushrooms until they begin to smell like they would attract friends and allies alike.
- Add the venison and cook until brown on the outside and no longer making concerning noises.
- Add herbs, salt and a little water, then cover and leave over the fire and take a quick nap.
- Serve hot, preferably with bread and whatever wine is obtainable.
Willy’s advice: Despite all mushrooms being edible some are edible only once. Don’t pick and cook those you cannot identify.
